Jamie Mordaunt

Jamie joined Hennig in London in April 2012 and relocated to Botswana in January 2013.

Jamie is from London and has an engineering degree and background. He spent 13 years with De Beers, starting out by gaining an appreciation of rough diamonds and of cutting & polishing, working in diamond processing operations in Antwerp, Thailand, Portugal, Botswana, Namibia, Israel and India, before returning to London to join the DTC's Sales Department where he led a team of Key Account Managers.

Jamie later moved from DTC Sales into Marketing where he led the strategic development of the Forevermark project, including the original pilot launches in Hong Kong, China, Japan, and India.

After five years with Forevermark, Jamie left De Beers in 2009 to start his own business which rented out diamond jewellery in the UK for weddings and other special occasions. He also provided consulting services to the diamond industry and to the World Gold Council as part of their Responsible Gold team.
